Organic Standalone Waveforms Manipulator v.007 (special edition)

Organismo is a sonic apparatus that invites you to explore a world of two oscillators, their dedicated FM/AM modulators and a couple of weird 5-steps sequencers.

Organismo can morph into a living, evolving instrument or remain a dry, repetitive machine.

Its GUI may not be immediately intuitive (even if you speak Italian); it demands to be navigated by ear and instinct rather than relying on your eyes and your prefrontal cortex.

(TIP: when the sequencer is triggered [by "sequenza" button], it can be switched off, but if the EQ sustain on the last note remains open, press the white button below the EG to stop)

• Each step send gate to EG

(TIP. The initial sequence has a fixed random frequency. Move the Oscillator and FM knobs and move the steps to start the frequency changes. Remember to open the Attenuators. Remember to set the sequencer speed and the amount of EG)

• POST MIXER (sum of 2 OSC)
  • 2 Band Equalizer (equalizzatore) with on/off
  • Oscilloscope with 2 independent waves for OSC1 and OSC2

  • REC mode to record each sound produced during a session in a selectable folder, with volume and stereo meter. (registra and cartella)

• Reset (grey button) restart EG from basic ADSR
• Amount of EG (0 to 15000)

• Shift+click to remove an eg point
• Option+click to curving a line

(**) VST Selection

1. VST to search on your VST folder, for external VST effect (reverb, delay, dynamic, etc) The external effect operates post mixer and can be recorded
2. APRI to open and modify the parameters of your external VST effect

(when a VST is selected, it cannot be removed, but you can change VST. TIP: use VST with WET/DRY knob)

Installation/Start:

• Download Organismo
• Move the file to the desktop
• Click on the OR logo
• If the block pop-up opens because it is not a verified developer, Oper System Settings and go to privacy and security... then find the Security and Open Anyway SUS_Organismo_v007

• Retry to Click on the OR logo
• Accept (desktop folder)
• When the program is open, press the power button in the top right-hand corner
• Accept (microphone access x2 or x4)
• Set audio Outputs
• Turn up the Master volume in the bottom right-hand corner
• start playingTIP: Do not change the name 'SUS_Organism_v007' otherwise the program will not start
